Bogalusa Rebirth was organized in 2007 by a dedicated group of community leaders to address the issues of blight and poverty in Bogalusa. Made up of a eight-member Board of Directors volunteering their time and talent and two employees, Executive Director and Homebuyer Coordinator, the organization has raised capital, purchased land, built and sold affordable homes, cleared blight and established potential homebuyer training and credit counseling programs.
