Franklinton presentation 2Save Bogalusa spent an educational morning at Franklinton Elementary School with our community partner, Keep Washington Parish Beautiful (KWPB), along with representatives from the Choctaw Landfill and the LSU Agricultural Center. They talked to two hundred fifth graders about the importance of preserving our community’s natural environment, especially by properly disposing of garbage to prevent pollution in our waterways. We learned some things too, and we can’t wait to work with KWPB building the next generation of environmental stewards in Bogalusa!

A special thanks to Troy Barber from KWPB, Lacie from the LSU Agricultural Center, and the manager of the Choctaw Landfill for making this event possible.
