The long awaited ribbon cutting is complete. Now, it’s time to get to work folks!
On Monday, November 11th, Project Save Bogalusa celebrated its new office opening at the Bogalusa Post office along with a Veterans Day Commemorative Event. Guest speakers included the Honorable Chief of Staff Ben Nevers and Consultant Louis Thomas. On this special day, Save Bogalusa received a resolution from the Washington Parish Government recognizing it’s efforts during the devastating floods of 2016. Save Bogalusa took the opportunity to recognize local veterans including our Veteran Honoree Mr. Heldria Swilley, a 98 year old World War II veteran.
We were honored to have City of Bogalusa Mayor Wendy Perrette do the honors of cutting the ribbon.
